(Metro News) Fire hits Manila

MANILA, June 17 –Some P100,000 worth of properties were razed by a fire at a residential area in Sampaloc, Manila on Thursday morning.

Fire investigators said the fire started at 9:37 a.m. on the second floor of an apartment owned by Teodoro Ramos at 601 Sobriedad corner RS Cristobal Sts., Sampaloc, Manila .

Fortunately, no one was reported injured during the blaze.

The fire that reached third alarm lasted 53 minutes before firemen put it out at 10:30 a.m.

Four families were rendered homeless. (PNA) RMA/JES
