MANILA, May 18 — With the recent spate of arrests of cocaine-carrying Filipinos within Thailand and on its borders, the Philippine embassy in Thailand warns would-be travelers anew to be wary of requests to carry packages in exchange for money — else they be sucked into the Asian operation of a syndicate for drug mules and, at worst, be hanged to death.
