MANILA, Feb. 26 — The Republic of the Philippines signed with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) on Thursday the Indemnity Agreement in connection with the proposed 100-billion yen (roughly US$ 1.1 billion) Samurai Bond issuance of the National Government under JBIC’s Market Access Support Facility (MASF).
