Nepal tourism stall in Italy attracts 150,000 visitors

KATHMANDU, Feb. 23 — Nepal participated at the 30th Borsa International Tourism Exhibition (BIT) that was organized in Milan, Italy.

According to Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Nepal stall attracted more than 150,000 visitors in BIT, which began on Feb. 18 and came to close on Sunday.

Nepal stall attracted a large number of aspiring visitors who queried about connectivity, security, frontier formalities and possibilities of combining tours with India and China.

An Italian NGO working in Nepal in areas of Responsible Tourism development in the eastern Sagarmatha region, in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board and Trekking Agencies'Association of Nepal, organized a workshop on Tourist Information Management System and Code of Conduct for Responsible Travel' during the exhibition.
