MANILA, Feb. 17 — The remains of Filipina supermarket worker Mary Grace Fabian, who was among the thousands of casualties of the Haiti earthquake last January 12, are due to arrive in the Philippines Friday morning (Manila time), the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Wednesday. The remains were cleared for repatriation to Manila on Tuesday from Haiti’s neighbor of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, DFA added, quoting the Philippine Vice-Consul to Cuba Jason Anasarias.
