119 cops to graduate with Master's degree in Iloilo

ILOILO CITY, Feb. 4 – After 20 months of career advancement studies at the University of St. La Salle (USLS)-Bacolod Graduate School, 119 police officers, including one non-uniformed personnel, will be graduating on Saturday in line with the Project C.O.P.S. program.
The graduation rites will be held at the USLS Coliseum with Dr. Eduardo Cojuangco Jr, chairman of the Eduardo Cojuangco Foundation, Inc. (ECFI) expected to deliver the commencement address.
Expected to attend the graduation rites are Brother Ray Suplido, president and chancellor of USLS, Dr. Irma Madonna Echaus, the dean of the USLS Graduate School, Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) Regional Director Police C/Supt Isagani Cuevas, Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office (NOPPO) Director Police Supt Manuel Felix as well as parents and relatives of graduates.
They will be conferred the degree of Master in Public Management major in National Security and Law Enforcement by Brother Suplido.
Msgr. Victorino Rivas, vicar general of the Diocese of Bacolod, will bless the graduates.
The awardees will be led by PO2 Jay Geneblaza of NOPPO’s Public Information Office and PO3 Donel Tangub of La Carlota City Police Office. Both officers will graduate with Highest Academic Honors.
Other awardees are Police C/Insp Samuel Mina of EB Magalona PNP, Police C/Insp Rico Santotome Jr., Public Information Officer of NOPPO and PO2 Joy Ellaga of Victorias City PNP. They will be awarded the High Academic Honors award by Dr. Echaus.
Leadership awardees are Police Supt. Norberto Boston of NOPPSMC, Police SInsp Argel Ancheta of Pontevedra PNP as well as Police CInsp Noel Mana-ay of Cadiz City PNP and and Police Officer 2s Jared Esquilla of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO)and Listini Lin Villasana of (NOPPO) will also be awarded the Call For Excellence Awards while Section Green and Section Red will receive the Best Class Performance and Best Class Attendance citations.
