MANILA, Dec. 31 –- Operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Thursday confiscated "piccolo" and other deadly firecrackers being sold in various parts of the city "to dramatically reduce" the number of firecracker casualties during New Year's Eve celebrations.
