CPJ condemns attacks on Dawn columnist’s house

NEW YORK, Dec. 2 — The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), an independent watchdog, Tuesday condemned the reported attack on the Rawalpindi house of Dawn newspaper columnist Kamran Shafi, saying Pakistan’s independent media is under threat.

“CPJ condemns this attack on such a prominent Pakistani journalist,” Bob Dietz, CPJ Asia programmer coordinator, said in a statement. (PNA/APP)
