FG supports PGMA's decision to run for Congress

MANILA, Dec. 1 — First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo throws his full support for President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s decision to run as congresswoman of the second district of Pampanga in the coming May 2010 elections.
Atty. Arroyo said on Monday, their family is 100 percent in full support to President Arroyo’s candidacy as congresswoman of the 2nd district of Pampanga.
According to the First Gentleman, he and their whole family will campaign for PGMA when the campaign period starts on February 9, 2010.
”I am a private citizen, so I and my children can campaign for PGMA,” Mr. Arroyo added.
President Arroyo filed her certificate of candidacy (CoC) on Tuesday morning at the Provincial Election Registrar office in the provincial capitol in San Fernando City.
The First Gentleman, Rep. Mikey Arroyo and local officials of Pampanga accompanied the President in submitting her CoC. (PNA)
