DA Sec. Yap, PMS Sec. Esperon lead the groundbreaking of re-regulating pond at San Roque, San Manuel, Pangasinan

da-san_roqueAgriculture Secretary Arthur Yap (2nd from left) and Presidential Management Staff Secretary Hermogenes Esperon Jr. (center) lead the groundbreaking of the construction of the re-regulating Pond at San Roque, San Manuel, Pangasinan. The re-regulating pond, which forms part of the P11-million Agno River Integrated Irrigation Project, will cover 34,450 hectares of land and will benefit 28,207 farm families. The project will provide year-round irrigation in 17 towns and one city of Pangasinan, as well as various areas of Tarlac and Nueva Ecija. It will also serve as regulating pond for the irrigation peak release of water at San Roque Dam.
