ILOILO CITY, Nov 27 – Members of the Antique media are condemning as well the senseless killing of 57 people in Maguindanao and are seeking full implementation of the law to serve justice to the victims.

The members of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines and the other media outfits in Antique will gather Friday to hold an indignation rally in the capital town of San Jose, Antique.

They will also come out with a statement calling for justice for their slain comrades, at least 24 of them, who were with the convoy of the wife of Buluan, Maguindanao Vice Mayor Ismael "Toto" Mangudadatu, when waylaid and killed.

Genalyn Mangudadatu and her convoy were on their way for the filing of the certificate of candidacy of Mangudadatu when the incident happened.

The Antique media are appealing to the government to have all those behind the massacre be brought before the bar of justice even as Datu Unsay, Maguindanao Mayor Andal Ampatuan, Jr. has already turned himself in. (PNA)
