MANILA, Nov. 26 — The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Thursday formally filed criminal charges for multiple murder against Datu Unsay, Maguindanao Mayor Andal Ampatuan, Jr. before the General Santos City Regional Trial Court (RTC) in connection with the gruesome killing of some 57 civilians, including two women lawyers and a dozen journalists in Maguindanao on Monday.
