24PNR03The Philippine National Railways (PNR) has acquired new air-conditioned trains (shown in lower photo) which are now plying the Tutuban-Alabang and vice versa route over new tracks that have been cleared of informal settlers. The revitalized PNR operation, along with the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and the Light Rail Transit (LRT), is seen to greatly help decongest vehicular traffic and allow commuters to travel throughout Metro Manila at low fares via commuter trains.
