CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela, Nov. 17 — The City Permit and Licensing Office here is planning to put up a one-stop shop area within the city premises for the speedy processing and issuance of business permits beginning 2010.
City Permit and Licensing Office chief Elena Quilang said this annual initiative is set up at the city hall’s lobby, particularly in the first quarter of each year where business permits are being renewed.
She said the one stop-shop will be composed of representatives from the different offices to issue needed documents in processing business permits.
The offices involve in issuing business permits are the Social Security System (SSS), City Treasurer which issues Community Tax Certificate, City Health Office ((CHO) which issues sanitary permit, City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) which is also issues environment permit and others needed in the renewal of business permits.
Quilang said the one-stop shop would ease the burden of business owners in securing documents to process their permits from offices which are located far from the city hall. (PNA)
