PGMA to keynote 35th KBP conference in Tagaytay

MANILA, Nov. 10 — President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will keynote on Thursday (Nov. 12) the 35th top level management conference of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) at Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay.

The conference will be opened by KBP president Herman Basbano and the welcome remarks will be delivered by Mayor Abraham Tolentino and KBP chairman Butch Canoy.

KBP is a national association of owners and operators of radio and television stations.

Established in 1973 to raise the standard of broadcasting, the KBP promotes social positive changes, disseminates information on industry developments, and establishes better business practices between the broadcast and advertising industries.

The KBP represents the broadcast industry in government hearings and policy-making. (PNA)
