TUNIS, Nov. 10 — Tunisia condemned on Monday the Houthis rebels' cross-border attack on Saudi Arabia.

"Following the criminal aggressions by Houthis rebels in the territories of Saudi Arabia, Tunisia expresses forceful condemnation and rejection of these serious violations of the Kingdom's security and stability," the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

"Tunisia also expresses entire solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in exercising its legitimate right to defend its sovereignty and face up to whatever menace to its territorial integrity and its citizens' safety and security," it added.

Last Wednesday, Saudi authorities said that one border guard was killed and 11 others injured in an attack near the country's southern border with Yemen by a group of Houthis rebels, who infiltrated into the border area of Jabal al-Dukhan, al-Khouba district in Jazan region. (PNA/xinhua)
