Second Palestinian died of A(H1N1) in West Bank

RAMALLAH, Nov. 8 — A Palestinian woman has died of A(H1N1) influenza Saturday evening in the West Bank, the health ministry said.
The death of the 54-year-old lady is the second case registered in the Palestinian territories who have died of A(H1N1) influenza, the ministry said in a brief statement sent to the media.
A total of 892 Palestinians had been infected by the flu virus, all of them in the West Bank. There has been no cases reported in the Israeli-blockaded Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the ministry said it has agreed with an international company to import A(H1N1) vaccines. A few thousand injections have already arrived and being used for pilgrims who are traveling to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. (PNA/Xinhua)
