SAN MIGUEL, Surigao del Sur, Sept. 28 –- Combat maneuvering troops of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) aborted a planned “plenum” (assembly) next week of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP)-New People’s Army (NPA) when they encountered the communist insurgents that led to the capture of the rebels camp in Northeastern Mindanao, a regional Army spokesman on Monday said.
