(Metro) Maynilad schedules new water service interruption

MANILA, Sept. 22 — Maynilad Water Services Inc. (Maynilad) announced Tuesday water service interruption in several areas from 11 p.m. Sept. 25 (Friday) to 3 p.m. Sept. 26 (Saturday) to upgrade and investigate its pipe network in southern Metro Manila.

The affected areas are Pasay City’s Brgy. Sun Valley, Brgy. Pildera 1 and 2, Brgy. Maricaban, Brgy. Vitalez, Brgy. Rivera Village, Brgy. Domestic, Brgy. Electrical, Brgy. Baltao, Brgy. Sto. Niño as well as the city’s financial and commercial district along Roxas Blvd. and Macapagal Ave., including Mall of Asia.

There will be temporary water service interruption also in Parañaque City’s Brgy. Baclaran, Brgy. Tambo, Bayview Village, Sunset Village, Goodwill Subdivision, Puyat Compound, Sitio Maligaya, Marina Bay Town, Marina Bay Homes, Amvil, Concord Village, Brgy. La Huerta, Brgy. Sto. Niño, Brgy. Dongalo, Brgy. San Dionisio, SM Sucat, Salazar Compound, Wakas Compound, Lim Compound, Jaeville Subdivision, Gatchalian 1 and 2, Multinational Village, Rodriguez Compound, Aurerina Compound, R. Medina Compound, Villanueva Subdivision, Clarmen Village, Salvador State, Bernabe Subdivision, Villa Lourdes, Dela Cruz Compound, portions of Brgy. San Isidro, portions of Brgy. BF from El Grande Ave. to Aguirre Ave., and along Aguirre Ave. to Magbanua St., all commercial establishments along Dr. A. Santos from Kabihasnan to Lopez Ave., Lopez Village, Fortunata Village, Garden City Subdivision and Silverio Compound.

Interrupted water service will be experienced likewise in the entire Las Piñas and Cavite areas.

Maynilad will undertake during the service interruption CCTV investigation of 400-mm ACP mainline along Airport Road corner Roxas Blvd., Parañaque City, valve insertion of new 600-mm butterfly valve and CCTV investigation of 600-mm ST mainline along T. Claudio corner GG Cruz, Parañaque City, CCTV investigation of 500-mm CIP mainline along Quirino Ave. corner MIA Road, Parañaque City, CCTV investigation of 500-mm CIP mainline along Quirino Ave. corner Avelino, Parañaque City and CCTV investigation of 200-mm PVC secondary line along Alabang-Zapote Road corner Tramo St., Las Piñas City.

The company is advising customers in affected areas to store water enough for the service interruption’s duration.
