DUMAGUETE CITY, Aug. 6 – A “level two” drug pusher in Cebu was arrested in Dumaguete following long years of manhunt operation.

The subject of an alias warrant of arrest issued by Judge Meinrado P. Paredes of the Regional Trial Court Branch 13 in Cebu is Pastor del Villar alias “Alberto”, “Dodong Cabang” and “Dodong Castillo”.

Reports from Cebu disclosed that del Villar had eluded arrest in a drug raid in Cebu some four to five years ago while having an alleged transaction of more than 100 grams of shabu.

Two of his companions were already convicted and shipped to the National Bilibid prisons in Muntinlupa, while del Villar had managed to seek refuge in Balugo, Dumaguete.

However, while hiding in Dumaguete, del Villar had reportedly continued with his nefarious activities and that arrested drug pushers point to “Dodong Cabang” as the alleged shipper of illegal drugs from Cebu.

He is accused of violating Section 5 of RA 9165, which is a non-bailable offense.

In an interview, Del Villar alias Dodong Cabang claimed he was never arraigned and have not received any summons from the court.

Operatives from the provincial police intelligence office of Negros Oriental, the National Bureau of Investigation, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the city police of Dumaguete had jointly arrested the suspect. (PNA) LAP/jfp/JG
