CHICAGO, July 11 — A 31-year-old man accused of carrying a handgun outside the South Side home of U.S. President Barack Obama last year was sentenced on Friday to five years in prison, local media reported.

JAKARTA, July 11 — An earthquake measuring 5.5 Richter scale rocked Sumatra island in western parts of Indonesia Friday evening but no report of damage or casualties, according to the country's Meteorology and Geophysiscs Agency.
