IRENA will be located in Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City, the world’s first carbon-neutral, zero-waste city powered entirely by renewable energy. 0107lazaro006Laguna Governor Teresita Lazaro urges the 109 rebel returnees in the province to encourage their comrades who are still in the hills to embrace the fold of the law and lead the peaceful life during the recent awarding of livelihood support fund amounting to P2.18 million or
P20,000 each to the former rebels at the Laguna Cultural Center in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. The beneficiaries, who yielded before the Social Integration Program (SIP) was implemented last year, comprised the second batch to get assistance from the government as part of the closure process of the old rebel returnee program. The first batch, composed of 101 beneficiaries, received their grants last June 17.
