SURIGAO CITY, July 3 — Some 30 New People's Army (NPA) rebels retreated when a joint Philippine Army 30th Infantry Battalion (IB) troopers and Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office operatives beat them during a l0-minute clash in Barangay Camboayan, Bacuag, Surigao del Norte Thursday.
