MANILA, June 11 – Two days prior to the celebration of Philippine Independence, the Philippine government was informed by the Amiri Palace in Kuwaint through the Philippine Embassy, that the King has granted absolute pardon to May Vecina who was convicted and sentenced to death by the Kuwait High court for killing her employer’s six-year old son on 6 January 2007. The pardon was dated 01 June 2009.
