DUMAGUETE CITY, May 29 — After waiting for more than 10 years, former rebels from Negros Oriental who returned to the fold of the law in the late 1990s have finally received their checks representing economic assistance from the national government, through the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP).
