MANILA, May 26 — The committee on Constitutional amendments of the House of Representatives on Tuesday approved House Resolution no. 1109, authored by Speaker Prospero Nograles and backed by 174 congressmen, which seeks to convene Congress into a Constituent assembly (Con-ass) in amending the 1987 Constitution, be sent to the House committee on rules for consideration for plenary deliberation.
