Total of swine flu cases in Canada rise to 19

OTTAWA, April 30 — The total of confirmed swine flu cases in Canada has risen to 19, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC announced Wednesday.

According to the surveillance chart published on the PHAC website, Ontario now has seven cases, with three new cases added; British Columbia stands at six, with three new cases added.

Other infections happen in Alberta and Nova Scotia, with two and four cases respectively. (PNA/Xinhua) ALM/ebp
